As of September 2026. Newer Indian split apps like The Hisaab and YatraYaar are free, but spends still go in through forms and there's no trip gallery.
How it works
Set up before the cab arrives
- Start a trip and drop its link in your WhatsApp group. Friends join with Google in a tap.
- Type spends like messages as you go: "Petrol 2000 maine diya", "chai 60 me and Rahul".
- Settle up on the last day. Everyone sees exactly what they owe or get back, and pays over UPI.

Is it free?
Yes, free during the beta, with no daily limit and no ads.
Do you handle our money?
No. Payments go person to person over UPI in your own app. Tripyy keeps the record and tells you who owes whom.
Does everyone need to install something?
No. It works in the browser on any phone. Friends open the trip link and sign in with Google.
Who can see the photos and the chat?
Only the people on your trip.
Do we have to leave our WhatsApp group?
No. Keep chatting there. Tripyy is where the spends, the pot and the photos live.
